Nice Green Roof !

Look at this! The garage has a green metal roof... it is so pretty and should last about a gazillion years. It took the roof guys two days to put this on... they had to wait after they put the first side on because it rained, and the plastic underlayment was too wet for the guys to go up and work without risking slipping off.


The second day the crew worked longer because they had to put on the cap section and the endy-things so the rain water wouldn't leak under the metal. Now it is all warm and dry inside... well, dry, anyway. When the doors are on, it will be lots less drafty - therefore warmer, right?

The pink stuff on the walls is the "house wrap" that Contractor Jim and Kyle are putting on before they put siding on. They've finished putting the siding on the other end and and part of the back (so far)... all the electrical wiring is in and waiting for Jim and Kyle to put the boxes in. Then we can plug in heaters and lights so we can see the inside. Yaay! Can you see I'm pretty excited?
