My sweet niece Alex graduated from High School on Sunday last.There was wind and rain during the ceremony and the students got soaked, but they didn't seem to mind at all - hair-dos were flattened, but their spirits soared. Some of the speakers even incorporated the 'rain' theme into their remarks; a beloved teacher even sang an impromptu version of "Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head" that met with much laughter and applause.
The ceremony ended just as the clouds cleared, a fitting end and beginning for the students. Everyone adjourned to the quad for photos... in the sun!
