They Came in the Mail

About a week ago I got a little box in the mail.

On Wendy's recommendation, I had ordered some rather elegant (and expensive) cards from "Minted", a custom printer. As a promotion, Minted is offering 25 cards for free, you just have to pay for shipping. Minted's print and cardstock quality is well worth the regular price, and the service was really fast. (and yes, I will order more... so it worked) These are called "Mommy cards" because they were originally designed for playdates, etc. Sweet deal... you just have to order by September 21st.

Lots of designs to choose from, but I wanted something unusual, so I went with square cards. I was able to customize the printing to suit ME, just name, phone, email, and address. Since I needed cards to put in with pots I send to friends or donate to charity auctions, this seemed like a great idea! The little square cards are the perfect size, and I just had to have the little country sheep! I changed the orange lettering on the front to read "pottery and pastels" so I could use the cards with my paintings, too, and added an orange color to the flipside where I can write a message. Very cool, and lots of fun!
