The Umpqua Valley Art Association's 25th annual "Summer Art Festival" is coming up quite soon. It is always the last full weekend in June... this year the 25th and 26th.
There are booths at the fair where artists may sell their wares, a gallery show (inside the Art Center), food vendors and a beer tent! This year it was decided that some local artists should paint the tables for the beer garden. There were 28 tables and 28 artists (and/or teams) were asked to use the theme "Sun" to decorate them. Sort of a "Beer Gallery" I guess.
My friend Diana and I decided to go "South of the Border" with a quasi-Talafera pottery design. We had a really good day playing with the paints! Yo quiero "el sol", y mi amiga Diana se quiera, tambien!
