All Clean...

While washing the dishes, I realized that within the past year we've gone from having one hand-thrown salad bowl to using exclusively "art" pottery that I've made! I am still inclined to think of my pots with the art part in quotation marks. Do functional pots qualify as art, or are they "just" a craft? I prefer to think of the potters art as a noble craft. At dinner last night we used quite a few condiment bowls. We don't even use our "store bought" china any more... I think that is pretty cool.
