When I came out of my knitting club meeting at noon today, there was HAIL all over my car! (the parking lot, too - what a surprise!) The weather here hasn't been as cold and snowy as my friend Kim has been experencing in Minnesota, but quarter-inch hailstones were quite a shock. I thought we may be getting an early spring after our mild winter, but "I shoulda known"... there is a reason Douglas County's last frost date isn't till mid April, and this is it! No planting for me for a while, except trees! The veggies will have to wait.

Oh, HAIL !

Oh hail! Will spring ever be allowed to arrive? Would you believe we had rain here yesterday? Temps in the 40's and a bit of rain, but still a foot of snow on the ground...spring, please come soon!
